Everything an engineer needs to understand, run, change and deploy the EMAW platform.

Reading order for a new developer

1. Overview: what the platform is, how the pieces fit, and which repository owns what.
2. Getting started: the accounts and access you need, what to install, and the security rules.
3. Environments: Azure, Cloudflare, Tailscale and every hostname you will meet.
4. The app you are working on: backend, website, web app, admin CRM or mobile app. Each section has an overview, local development, configuration and deployment page.
5. Operations: the deployment matrix, release order, Stripe, secrets and who to ask.

Conventions used in this guide

• Environment variables are always referred to by name only. Values live in the shared .env files distributed through the password manager and are never written in these docs.
• Commands are shown for PowerShell on Windows unless a page says otherwise. macOS equivalents are given where they differ.
• Detailed API contracts and per-feature runbooks stay in their repositories and are linked from here, so that they move with the code.
