The Settings screen

Setting	What it does
Language	Changes the app's language and the lesson text
Default Bible version	The version used for verse text in Scripture memory, new quiet times and the reader's default
Your stats	Quiet times completed, verses memorised, and more
Sign-in methods	Link or unlink your Google account so you can sign in with it
Change password	Hidden if your account has no password (Google-only); use Forgot password on the sign-in screen to add one
Log out	Signs you out on this phone
Delete account	Permanently removes your account and all data

Steps: link Google

1. Settings → Sign-in methods → Link Google.

2. Choose the Google account. From now on Continue with Google signs you in.

If the Google account is already linked to a different EMAW account you will see a message; use that account instead.

Steps: change your password

1. Settings → Change password. Enter the current and the new password.

Steps: delete your account

1. Settings → Delete account. Read the warning.

2. Confirm with your password, or with Google if your account has no password.

3. Your journal, verses, notes and progress are deleted. This cannot be undone. Purchases and event registrations made on the website are kept by the ministry for its records.

Tips

• Changing the language does not change your data; it changes labels and the lesson text.
• Your stats update when you open Settings; pull to refresh if they look stale.
